The United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has accepted an invitation from Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to visit Nigeria this year. The invitation was extended during bilateral talks at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025.
President Tinubu participated in the Sustainability Week, addressing global challenges like climate change, water scarcity, and energy crises. He outlined Nigeria’s stance on climate action and sustainable development, commending the UAE for hosting a successful event.
The bilateral talks focused on enhancing economic cooperation, attracting UAE investments to Nigeria, and fostering stronger ties between the nations. President Tinubu highlighted his administration’s economic reforms, which have stabilized the economy and restored confidence among international investors.
The UAE President’s visit to Nigeria is expected to further solidify the growing partnership between the two nations. Both leaders reiterated the importance of mutual efforts to build resilient economies and address global challenges.
