The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has launched its 2025 recruitment drive, seeking applications for Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant cadres. This move aims to bolster its workforce with 3,927 new officers, enhancing trade facilitation and contributing to Nigeria’s economic recovery.

Recruitment Objectives

The initiative aligns with the NCS’s commitment to supporting the country’s economic growth, as outlined in the 2025 national budget. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Budget of Restoration” proposes ₦48 trillion in spending and ₦35 trillion in revenue.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Superintendent Cadre: University degree or HND, plus NYSC discharge certificate
  • Inspectorate Cadre: National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • Customs Assistant Cadre: O’Level (WAEC or NECO) qualifications
