Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako commissioned a new Clinical Service and Ward Extension Building at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Abuja on January 14, 2025. The new facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and increased bed space. It aims to enhance patient care and address the growing demand for quality healthcare in the nation’s capital.

While speaking at the event, Dr. Salako emphasized the government’s dedication to strengthening healthcare infrastructure. “This building is more than infrastructure—it is a promise to Nigerians that we are committed to better health outcomes,” he stated.
