In a heartfelt initiative aimed at empowering widows in the Aleyita community, the Rotary Club of Garki – Abuja conducted a sustainable livelihood support program, providing essential tools and resources to help them generate income and improve their standard of living. This initiative, held today, underscores the club’s dedication to uplifting vulnerable groups and fostering self-reliance in its adopted community.
Led by Club President, Rotarian Dr. Joachim Ibeziako Ezeji, the event included the donation of various items such as milling machines, food supplies, and essential equipment to aid these women in starting small-scale businesses.
The beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, with many offering heartfelt prayers for the growth and success of the Rotary Club of Garki – Abuja.
Notable attendees included Past District Governor (PDG) Dr. Victor C. Onukwugha and Rotarian Emmanuel I.
