A Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 carrying 181 people skidded off the runway, collided with a concrete wall, and erupted into flames.
The flight departed from Bangkok, Thailand, bound for Muan, South Korea.
The tragedy happened Sunday Morning on December 29th. Eyewitness accounts and footage captured the horrifying scene as the aircraft veered off the runway, sliding uncontrollably before the catastrophic explosion.

Following the accident, all flights at the Muan terminal were canceled, and South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol called for a thorough and transparent investigation.

Two survivors – a passenger and a crew member were miraculously rescued from the 181 people, including 175 passengers (173 South Koreans and 2 Thai nationals) and 6 crew members that were on the aircraft.
